[origin: WO2005111906A2] A system (10) for automatically generating a patient-related medical data message by means of a generating station (12) made available to a medical practitioner and connected to a data server (15) via a data transmission network (14). The system includes means (16, 18, 20, 22) that the medical practitioner can actuate to trigger message generation, practitioner ID data input means (32, 22), patient ID data input means (34, 22), patient-related medical data input means (40, 22), means (44) for combining the various data to form a message in a predetermined network transmission format, and means (54) for transmitting the message to the server over the network.
