Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005114793A1] The inventive contact comprises a tubular body (9) defined by walls (14) and the part of said contact attached to the inside of the tubular body which is provided with an edge (11) forming a shoulder for interacting with a second shoulder (65) formed by the end of a plug socket (55) of the connector insulating body, thereby blocking said contact in a direction of the plug socket (55) withdrawal. The front section of the body is provided with a slit (47) formed by one of walls (14) for enabling the body (9) to be deformed during the contact insertion into the plug socket. The part of the electric connector comprising the insulating casing and the inventive electric contact are also disclosed.
