Abstract (en)
The transport device has detachable fixing units fixing a couch device e.g. stretcher, on a base frame (10). The units include gusset plates (11) to deliver horizontal acceleration forces from a continuous casting section (8) of the couch device to vertical supports (4, 5) of the frame. The plates protrude into a lifting area between the section and the supports. The plates (11) are fastened to the section and the supports. The lifting area is decreased to around 10 percentages by the plates. An independent claim is also included for an adapter for connecting a couch device of a patient transport device with a supporting frame and/or a base frame.
