[origin: EP1738918A1] The material has a substrate made of paper and covered with coating material containing binders and inorganic pigment. The substrate has a density of 0.6 to 1.0 gram per cubic centimeter, and CObb 60 value of 19 to 25 grams per square meter. The coating covers the recording layer laid directly on the substrate. The recording layer contains pigment made of colloidal synthetic boehmite with middle crystal size of 10 to 50 nanometers. The recording layer also contains binders which has 80 to 100 Gew-% silanated polyvinyl alcohol. The recording layer contains eucalyptus paper fiber.
