Abstract (en)

The cylinder has reading units (27, 29) with an input unit to enter input and a receiving unit to receive input signals. The reading units with the input and receiving units are arranged such that they are spatially separated from evaluation electronics (17) in knobs (25, 26). Each knob is connected with a knob shaft (14) in an electrically and mechanically detachable manner. The electronics is arranged in a housing and in the shaft. The reading units generate an access signal from the input or the input signal, where the access signal is evaluated by the electronics.
