[origin: WO2005103360A1] The aim of the invention is to produce a display device (1) for electrically-operated, especially programmed, household appliances, said display device representing information for a plurality of spatially separated household appliances and being arranged a long distance away from the location of the household appliances. To this end, for the inventive dishwasher, information relating to at least one household appliance can be wirelessly transmitted by means of an emission device (3) to a receiver device associated with the display device, by a preferably electronic programmed control of the household appliance, said emission device being specially separated from the household appliance. As a result of the spatial separation of the emission device from the inventive display device, the information relating to the household appliances which are located even a long distance away, e.g. in another room or in another building, can be received by the receiver device and displayed by the display device.
