[origin: EP1741856A2] A caravan has a hinged door that swings between the open and closed positions within a surrounding frame where it is closed by a lock secured to the door. When closed, the door is secured by a bolt extending from the frame and engaging behind the lock. In use, the bolt extends through an aperture in the frame. The bolt is shifted between the open and closed positions by manual operation.
