[origin: EP1741975A2] A lamp for an operating theatre has a housing (50) with an array of lamp sockets and reflectors. The lamp sockets are movable to facilitate focusing light at the desired point. The lamp sockets move with respect to the housing. The light emergence area represents at least 40 per cent of the lamp total surface area.
