[origin: EP1767479A2] The unloading process is for unloading a roll (08) from a roll changer (01) of a web-processing machine which has at least two roll arms (02, 03), each with one axle journal (04, 06) on which the roll can rotate. The first roll arm is displaced outward until the first end of the roll is stripped off the first axle journal. The second roll arm is then displaced outward until the second end of the roll is stripped off the second axle journal.
