Abstract (en)
The device has a sorting mechanism, which is rotated by a shaft. A housing is mounted on the shaft and includes a base part, cover part (5) and a casing. The cover part includes openings (9), through which objects to be sorted are passed through and guided to a sorting unit (7), where the openings are continuously adjustable by an operating device. The objects escape through openings in the base, after passing through the sorting unit. An independent claim is also included for a method of sorting objects of different size e.g. fruits and vegetables.
