Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1743739A1] The method involves bringing individual metal parts (1) in a blasting chamber (2) by a spinner (6) and moving the parts along a conveying path through the chamber. The parts are blasted from three sides by a blasting unit. The parts are rotated around a rotary axis, during the passage of the parts through the chamber, where the rotary axis is aligned transverse to a conveying direction of the parts. The individual blasted parts are removed through an outlet of the chamber. The parts are attached on a conveyor belt (5) and moved through the conveyor belt. An independent claim is also included for a device for grit blasting, sanding, deburring, surface finishing and descaling rotationally symmetrical parts.
