[origin: EP1744003A2] The casement has a profiled frame (1) with rebate holding the insulating glass (2) which is stuck to the frame by adhesive (11) and is adjoined by a rib formed as a soft-elastic expanding seal (12) which is co-extruded with the profile beam of the frame or is inserted in a sealing groove formed therein. The seal can be welded continuously in the corner areas in which the profile beams abut one another. The seal can be formed as a hollow bead.
