Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1744411A2] The assembly has a panel (2) having two abutment elements (12, 14), and an electrical connector (4) engaged via an opening (3) of the panel and having two locking portions (10). The portions have a locking surface arranged to press against the element (12) while the connector is turned relative to the panel such that the connector is locked on the panel. The connector is immobilized relative to the panel by pressing against the elements. The connector has a clamping surface having a plane low portion arranged to press against a face (6) of the panel with a certain amount of pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a panel for an electrical connection assembly (2) an electrical connector for an electrical connection assembly (3) a method for realizing the assembling of a connector on a panel of an electrical connection assembly.
