[origin: WO2005102690A1] The invention relates to a laminated fabric for producing sails for wind-driven engines, in particular to the inventive fabric which is provided with a core (250) comprising each sealing foil of said sail and at least two layers (203, 205) of structural fibres (503, 505) extending to the inside of the core (250) with at least one layer (203, 205) on each side thereof. In said fabric, each sealing foil comprises at least one continuous film (220) made of a polymer material and said structural fibres reinforce the sail resistance with respect to mechanical loads performed on the sail. Sails at least partly made of the inventive material are also disclosed.
