The connection to the connecting element (7) of a pressure reducer (6) or the like is carried out by plug-in connection means that can be plugged into each other and sealed from the outside in such a way that they are protected from any dirt. The closing element provided on the coupling part simultaneously forms an evacuation protection device that, in the uncoupled state, enables only the evacuation of a defined gas quantity when the cylinder valve is opened.
