Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005111954A1] The invention relates to a storage machine (1) for objects, comprising an arrangement (4) of compartments with a number of compartments (3) and at least one locking device (7), which may be positioned relative to a central access opening (6) in the machine housing (2). An actuation force provided by the actuator for the locking device (7) is of such a magnitude or is adjustable and/or a drivetrain or a movement transmission path between the actuator and locking device (7) comprises a force- or torque-limiting device, such that the maximum force or torque transmission values acting on the locking device (7) may be fixed or adjusted such that, on automatic locking movements of the locking device (7), no serious injury to a user can occur and, furthermore, a manual holding or pressing on the locking device (7) is possible despite an active actuator. The locking device (7) or actuator is provided with at least one controllably-activated or deactivated, or controllably-positioned stop device, embodied for mechanical limitation of a maximum permitted opening width (12) for the locking device (7). An increased level of personal and access security for the storage machine can thus both be achieved.
