Abstract (en)
The method involves receiving a plastic ring over a fixture and receiving a sidewall of a container over the fixture and on top of the plastic ring. The sidewall is pressed into the plastic ring and a bottom is affixed to an end of the sidewall that is opposite to the plastic ring. Suction is generated on a surface of the bottom to lift the sidewall off the fixture and transfer the sidewall to the conveyor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a container assembly apparatus comprising a pressing device (B) a container building system comprising fixtures.

Es wird ein Verpackungsbehälter (1) mit einer Hülse (2) aus Papier- oder Kartonverbund, einem an einem Ende der Hülse (2) angeordneten Boden (20) und einer an dem entgegengesetzten Ende der Hülse (2) angeordneten Entnahmeöffnung (3) vorgeschlagen. Um einem solchen Verpackungsbehälter (1) insbesondere auch im Falle eines verhältnismäßig großen und/oder schweren Füllgutes eine hohe Formstabilität zu verleihen, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß im Bereich der Entnahmeöffnung (3) der Hülse (2) des Verpackungsbehälters (1) ein zumindest überwiegend aus Kunststoff gebildeter Ring (4) festgelegt ist, wobei der Ring (4) ein im wesentlichen U-förmiges Profil aufweist. Dabei deckt der Steg (6) des U-Profils die Stirnseite der Entnahmeöffnung der Hülse (2) ab und ist ein erster Schenkel (7) des U-Profils innenseitig der Hülse (2) und ein zweiter Schenkel (8) des U-Profils außenseitig der Hülse (2) angeordnet, wobei das U-Profil der Rings (4) derart dimensioniert ist, daß es das Papier- oder Kartonverbundmaterial der Hülse (2) unter Gewährleistung einer Klemmverbindung komprimiert.
