Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1746060A1] The assembly to change an adhesive film strip into a tube has a frame supporting the holder (4) for the adhesive strip roll and the strip manipulation components. A guide rod (11), moving on a mounting (8), supports the strip with the adhesive side upwards towards a guide roller (18). Deflections rollers (12,13) are on both sides of the guide rod to move the strip edges by 90[deg] into the vertical with a U-shape. Upper deflection rollers (14,6) move the vertical edges into the horizontal to overlap and be pressed together by a roller (17) forming the tube.
