Abstract (en)
The engine has rotor and stator blades that are spaced apart from opposite sealing surfaces, such that a rotor blade gap (11) and/or a stator blade gap (12) is formed between blade tips (6) and the sealing surfaces attached to the tips. A sealing unit (22) is movable along a longitudinal direction of the machine by a drive attached to the unit, so that the rotor blade gap with its dimension is adjustable. The unit (22) is formed as a separate annular segment or a fixed-blade carrier (18) and has attachment and sealing sides.
