[origin: EP1746691A2] The connector has a clamping sleeve (8) and a sliding sleeve for mechanical connection of a plug housing (2) with a mating connector. An outer conductor contact surface of the mating connector is stretchable axially against an outer conductor contact surface of the plug connector. The clamping sleeve has an end section (15) with a section that is running diagonally outward and with another section that is running diagonally inward and rearward. An axial force component is introduced into a clamping surface by the clamping sleeve in the operating position over the rear running section. An independent claim is also included for a clamping sleeve for bracing a coaxial plug connector and a mating connector.
