[origin: EP1746862A1] It is an object of the present invention to provide an acoustic systemwhich, whenproducinga sound frompillow speakers, can provide a natural feeling, without bringing about any incongruity to a listener. The acoustic system is provided with a low pass filter 3x for extracting a low frequency component of a reproduction signal Sin (Din) outputted from a signal source 2 and supplying the extracted signal to pillow speakers PR and PL, and a high pass filter 3y for extracting a high frequency component of the reproduction signal Sin (Din) and supplying the extracted signal to a normal position speaker PF3, thereby fixing a sound emitted from the pillow speakers PR, PL and a sound emitted from the normal position speaker PF3 on the normal position speaker PF3 side.
