Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005110170A1] A distributor (10) for powder alimentary product comprises a reservoir (14) to contain the product, shutoff means (52, 70, 84) arranged inside the reservoir (14) and comprising a movable shutoff device (52, 55) which in a closed position prevents discharge of the product to the outside and in an open position allows discharge of the product to the outside by gravity. The shutoff means comprise at least one inlet (54, 72) for the product from the reservoir (14) to a collecting chamber and at least one outlet (89) for the product to the outside from said collecting chamber. The inlet is open when the movable device is in the closed position, and the outlet is open when the movable device is in the open position. The inlet for the product is arranged in a transverse position relative to a direction of discharge (F) of the product by gravity and is capable of directing the flow of product from the reservoir (14) to the collecting chamber in a direction having a component perpendicular to the direction of discharge (F) by gravity.
