[origin: CA2533712A1] The invention relates to a coaxial plug (200) for a coaxial plug-in connecto r, especially of the N-type. Said coaxial plug (200) is provided with a cylindrical outer conductor housing part (36) forming an outer conductor, on e end (48) thereof being on the side of the plug and the other end (50) on the side of the coaxial cable. According to the invention, the arrangement is provided with a snap-on sleeve (42) which surrounds the outer conductor housing part (36) and can be axially displaced in relation to the outer conductor housing part (36), and a spring (52) which is supported by one end thereof on the outer conductor housing part (36) and by the other end thereo f on the snap-on sleeve (42), such that the snap-on sleeve (42) is prestressed in the direction of the coaxial cable end (50) of the outer conductor housin g part (36). The snap-on sleeve (42) is embodied on the plug end (48) thereof with axial slits into which elastic snap-in pins (54) can be inserted, said pins (54) having a radially outwardly raised edge (56) on the plug end thereof. The inventive arrangement is also provided with an unlocking sleeve (44) which surrounds the snap-on sleeve (42) and can be axially displaced in relation thereto (42). Said snap-on sleeve (42) comprises a radially outward ly raised ramp (58) whichrises in the direction of the coaxial cable end (50) and co-operates with a correspondingly inclined groove (60) on an inner side of the unlocking sleeve (44), in such a way that a displacement of the unlocking sleeve (44) in relation to the snap-on sleeve (42) in the directio n of the coaxial cable end (50) causes the snap-in pins (54) of the snap-on sleeve (42) to radially bend inwards.
