Abstract (en)
The lid ring (30) for the can lid (50), made of metal sheet with a plastic coating on both sides, has a closure membrane (44) for hot sealing. There is a hot-seal layer acting on the plastic layer as a sealing ring (40) on the side of the annular flange part (34) for sealing against closure membrane. The sealing ring may be sprayed onto the annular flange part.
