Abstract (en)
The polishing tool has a shaft (18) with a flange on its end and a blind threaded bore (20) which accommodates a fastening screw (24). The head of the screw engages in a countersunk hole (22) in the large disc or washer (21). The disc has grooves (27) in its edge and engages with a flanged ring (3), which engages with a clamping ring (14). The flanged ring engages with a grinding ring (2) consisting of an upper support layer on top of a thin abrasive layer (7).
