A method for fabricating a foil with security print, in which the foil is printed at least on one side with a character or image representation, and the foil is subsequently metalized on the printed side at least in parts, such that the metalized sections (17) covers over/conceals the printed section (18) at least in sections. An independent claim is included for a foil with security print.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Folie (14) mit Sicherheitsdruck, wobei die Folie (14) zumindest auf einer Seite mit einer schriftlichen oder bildlichen Darstellung bedruckt wird und die Folie (14) anschließend auf der bedruckten Seite zumindest teilweise metallisiert wird, sodass der metallisierte Abschnitt (17) den bedruckten Abschnitt (18) zumindest abschnittsweise überdeckt. Weiters betrifft die Erfindung eine nach dem Verfahren hergestellte Folie mit Sicherheitsdruck.
