Support device comprises a support (14) having a holding part (15) and a pivoting part (13) pivoting in the holding part and interacting with the edge (12) of a support element (11) in the closed position. The pivoting part is pre-tensioned by a spring element (16) of the holding part behind the edge of the support element. Preferred Features: The holding part has a stop (17) for the pivoting part. The stop can be adjusted. The pivoting part and the holding part have corresponding hooks and recesses for delimiting the pivoting region of the pivoting part.

Eine Abstützeinrichtung (10) für einen gegen einen Rahmen (1) schwenkbaren Flügel (2) eines Fensters hat ein von einem Federelement (16) vorgespanntes Schwenkteil (13) zum Hintergreifen eines Randes (12) eines Stützelementes (11). Das Schwenkteil (13) ist an dem Flügel (2) gelagert, während das Stützelement (11) an dem Rahmen (1) befestigt ist. Bei einem Aufbruchsversuch, bei dem der Flügel (2) senkrecht zu seiner Ebene von dem Rahmen (1) entfernt werden soll, gelangt das Schwenkteil (13) gegen einen Anschlag (17) und setzt dem Aufbruchsversuch einen hohen Widerstand entgegen.
