Abstract (en)
The dosing pump has an electromagnetic coil (4) mounted in a housing (1) and radially surrounding an axially movable armature (19). A pump piston (14) is fixedly connected to the armature to form a delivery unit (23) which when the coil is excited moves from the starting delivery position where the connecting duct is closed and the inlet (21) is opened into the suction position where the connecting duct (16) is opened and the fuel can flow out from the intermediate chamber (17) into the pump chamber (15). The delivery or supply movement where the delivery unit moves from the suction position to the delivery position is carried out solely through the action of the spring mechanism (20) provided between the delivery unit and a stop (24) connected to the housing.
