[origin: WO2005116785A1] The invention relates to a mobile tracking unit (10, 110) provided with: a camera (40, 140, 144, 312) comprising a receiver for electromagnetic radiation, said camera being embodied in such a way as to record, in a camera angle, electromagnetic radiation emitted or reflected by an object (102), and to produce a camera image signal representing an image of the object (102); a camera position sensor (328) which is embodied in such a way as to produce a camera position signal corresponding to the recording direction of the camera (40, 140, 144, 312), and to output said signal on the output side; at least one image reproduction unit (52, 152, 314) comprising an input for an image signal; and an augmented reality device (301) which is connected to the camera position sensor (328) on the input side and to the image reproduction unit (52, 152, 314) on the output side, said augmented reality device (301) being embodied in such a way as to produce an auxiliary information image signal representing auxiliary information, according to the camera position signal and the camera image signal, and to send said auxiliary information image signal to the image reproduction unit (52, 152, 160, 162, 314).
