[origin: WO2006000661A1] The invention concerns a control device for an electrical apparatus enclosed in an insulating housing containing a pair of stationary and mobile contacts, said mobile contact (2) capable of being actuated either manually with a hand lever (6) mounted rotatable between a position for closing and a position for opening the contacts (1, 2), or automatically in case of electric fault. Said device comprises a first so-called power mechanism (4) for manually opening and closing the contacts (1, 2) and maintaining the contacts in closed position, and a second so-called controlling and signalling mechanism (5), separate from the first, said second mechanism (5) being capable of automatically controlling the contacts (1, 2) in case of electric fault and of communicating with the peripheral accessories.
