Eine Maschine zur Herstellung einer einseitig kaschierten Wellpappebahn (43) weist eine Anpress-Einrichtung (16) zum Anpressen einer Kaschierbahn (39) gegen eine mit einer Wellung versehene Papierbahn (36) auf. Diese Anpress-Einrichtung (16) weist ein Anpressband (19) auf, das aus einem Gewebe aus Metall mit Kettfäden und Schussfäden besteht. Die Kettfäden und Schussfäden sind jeweils zumindest an ihren Kreuzungsstellen mittels Kunststoff miteinander verbunden.
