Abstract (en)
The cap has a transparent cap body (1) provided with a pencil sharpener (7) and adapted to be nested over a conical tip (29) particularly a lead (31), of a cosmetic pencil (27). A cap top (3) is adapted to be nested fixedly onto the body. An elastic clip (19) attached to the cap top has a molded-in rib (23) with a beveled portion (25) at the end nearest the clip. The clip and the portion restrict the sliding of the pencil inside the body and maintain the lead at a preset distance from the blade of the sharpener. An independent claim is also included for a cosmetic pencil fitted with a cap.
