[origin: EP1749906A2] Opened-rotor spinning machine has working station (2) which has a device (10) for manually thread (30) cutting to a defined length and the thread is fetched back to the crosswound bobbin (22). A storage device (37) admits certain amount of thread as well as one selected driving device (7) for lifting the crosswound bobbin from the bobbin drive roller (23). Manually activated controlling device (9) is provided during the spinning on process drive (19) of the drawing-off unit (18). The drive of the fiber belt feeding cylinder (14) as well as the driving device is controlled for the lifting the crosswound bobbin according to a preset spinning program.
