Abstract (en)
The device has a roller (1) including a bearing pin (2) provided at its end, and a framing (3) for rotatably supporting the roller, where a hollow-shaft motor (6) is attached on the bearing pin of the roller. The hollow shaft motor is connected with the framing by a motor connection (11). A hollow-shaft (7) of the motor is connected with the bearing pin of the shaft by using a coupler (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a hollow shaft-drive motor at a roller and/or a retrofit of a drive of a roller of a machine for forming and treating a material web such as paper web or cardboard web.
