The bar or handle has a drive (5`) arranged on a surface of a door (1) to actuate a door latch (3), and a set of handle units (7, 8) telescopically connected with one another, where one unit has larger outer diameter than the other unit. A drive side section is provided with a marking that is formed by a shape and/or color that are different from the bar or handle. The marking is formed by the section wise bulging of the bar/handle. The marking extends up to the drive-side end of the bar or the handle.

Panikstange oder Panikgriff zum Betätigen eines Türschlosses mit einem Griffelement, wobei das Griffelement auf der Seite des Türschlosses mit einer Markierung versehen ist. Die Markierung kann durch farbliche Gestaltung oder Formgebung, insbesondere durch eine Verdickung, geschaffen werden. Vorteilhaftenweise umfasst das Griffelement zwei oder mehrere teleskopisch miteinander verbundene Elementen, wobei das dickere Element auf der Seite des Türschlosses angeordnet ist.
