Abstract (en)

Disclosed herein are a pipe-inspection operation method and a pipe inspection method of a multi-air conditioner system, wherein an operating frequency of a compressor and a temperature-sensing reference location are altered according to the number of indoor units connected to an outdoor unit to inspect pipes and expansion valves. The pipe-inspection operation method operates the multi-air conditioner system including an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units (16) such that an operating frequency of a compressor (11) of the outdoor unit and a temperature-sensing reference location (17,18) of each of the indoor units (16) are altered according to the number of the indoor units connected to the outdoor unit to inspect pipes and expansion valves accurately and easily.
