[origin: WO2005113976A1] The invention relates to a fuel-injection system in an internal combustion engine, comprising at least one fuel injector (17), which is connected to a fuel supply line (13) via a fuel inlet (23), said line being connected to a source (12) of fuel under high-pressure. The fuel injector (17) comprises a valve control unit (18) and a nozzle unit (19). A fuel conduit (24) that is connected to the fuel supply line (13) leads to the nozzle unit. The fuel conduit (24) is equipped with a non-return valve (30), which blocks the fuel flow in the direction of the fuel supply line.
