[origin: WO2006000686A1] The method comprises a request stage (104) wherein a core network node sends a request for high speed access to a network access node and includes an authorization for fallback to a second service which is associated with a low speed radio access support, when a network node detects a call from a first service which is associated with a high speed radio access support. When the network access node detects that it is impossible to control the high-speed radio access support, having received said fallback authorization, it sends a command for fallback from a first service to a second service to said core network node in an alarm stage (218). When the core network node receives the fallback instruction, it initiates fallback from the first service to the second service in a fallback stage.
