Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1752377A2] The method involves having a source of compressed air provided by a compressor which is subjected with ambient air, and or compressed air and propelled by an engine and or turbine. Discharge openings are provided directly or indirectly connected to an airplane cab. A second source of compressed air has a discharge opening directly or indirectly connected to the airplane cab. A choice of operating mode depends on the pressure of the ambient air so that with high pressure ambient air the first operating mode is stopped and a lower pressure ambient air of the second operating mode provided.
