Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1752509A1] Method for increasing heat accumulator capacity of building materials from calcium silicate material, preferably aerated concrete stones, comprises providing phase change material (PCM) in encapsulated form to induce phase transitions; adding one or more raw materials and/or one or more intermediate products; and followed by binding. An independent claim is included for a building material of calcium silicate material, preferably aerated concrete, containing phase change material in encapsulated form, preferably in the form of microcapsule with a diameter of 1-40 mu m, preferably 2-20 mu m.
