Abstract (en)
The device has a carrier (10) and a mechanically operable push button switch (30). A lever (18) can be operated by the carrier for turning the switch. The lever includes a push button (12) and is arranged and/or formed in such a manner that an operating direction of the push button and switching path of the switch are opposite to each other during the operation of the lever with the help of the push button. An independent claim is also included for a front panel for household appliances.
