Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005115260A1] The invention relates to an invasive distracter in the form of a conventional screw clamp. Said invasive distracter enables two bones to be positioned in a spatially targeted manner, in order to separate the joint connecting said bones by means of distraction during an operation, and to thus create the necessary distance to carry out diagnoses and/or operations by means of arthroscopic methods. The appliance consists of a base (2) and a slide (3) which can be displaced in relation to each other in a controlled manner in such a way that they are protected against rotation. Said base and said slide comprise different devices such as worm gears, rotary gears and expansion gears, in order to be able to perform the distraction of the two bones in a spatially precise manner and in such a way that it is adapted to requirements.
