[origin: WO2005115643A1] A stop mechanism is arranged below each sorting end point (7) of a sorting device, comprising an extending part (6) for housing a container (1). The extending part (6) of the stop mechanism comprises a frame with rotating support rollers (5), on which the container is displaceably mounted. The support rollers (5) are arranged at such a height that in the rest position the container (1) is tilted towards a stop (8) at the front free end of the extending part (6). One or more rotating drive rollers (4) for transporting the container (1) are arranged to the rear such that the drive roller support surfaces are slightly raised with relation to a straight line connecting the roller surfaces of the support rollers (5). At least one further roller (9) is provided behind the drive rollers (4) in the direction opposing the extending direction, the support surfaces of which are located below the support surfaces of the drive rollers (4). Behind the rearmost last further roller (9) the storage and transport device (3) is arranged along the sorting endpoints (7).
