Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005118190A1] The invention relates to a method for anchoring an anchor (10) in an anchoring base (26) which is made of concrete, for example, as well as an anchor (10) and a drill that are suitable for carrying out said method. According to the invention, the anchor (10) is used as a tool for at least partly producing the anchor hole (28) in the anchoring base (26) by means of high-frequency vibration machining. The inventive anchor (10) is embodied as an undercut expansion anchor, for example, whose expansion sleeve (14) forms the tool and is driven into an anchoring base (26) by impinging the same with high-frequency vibrations.
