[origin: WO2005115894A1] The invention relates to a rotary part (1), especially a spreader roll for a web-processing machine. Said part comprises a supporting core (2) having a longitudinal axis (3) and an outer sleeve (4) having a longitudinal axis (8). Said outer sleeve (4), in at least some sections thereof, is supported on the supporting core (2) and surrounds the supporting core (2), in at least some sections, along its longitudinal axis (3). The outer sleeve (4) is a one-piece element and is elastically flexible and can be rotated about its longitudinal axis (8). The outer sleeve (4), in some sections, is mounted so as to be displaced perpendicular to its longitudinal axis (3) in relation to the supporting core (2) so that the outer sleeve (4) can be brought into a position in which the longitudinal axis (8) of the outer sleeve (4) is curved in relation to the longitudinal axis (3) of the supporting core (2).
