[origin: WO2005115895A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for conveying printed products that are conveyed along a conveying path. Said apparatus comprises at least one first conveying device that is disposed along a first section of the conveying path so as to convey the printed product at a first speed, and a second conveying device that is arranged along a second section of the conveying path, which follows the first section of the conveying path, in order to transport the printed product at a second speed, the second speed being different from the first speed of conveyance. The conveying path extends through a gap that is formed by at least two conveying elements. Said conveying elements are provided with a first speed of conveyance when a printed product enters the gap while being provided with a second speed of conveyance that differs from the first speed of conveyance when the printed product exits the gap.
