[origin: EP1754522A2] The binding (1) for a snowboard has an integral base (2) on which it is mounted for longitudinal sliding. The base has a toothed strip (6) which engages with a threaded section of a resistant bearing (23) to allow adjustment of the resistance bearing in the longitudinal direction. There is a guide profile (3) integral with the base and the toothed strip fits in a cut out in the base.
