[origin: EP1754543A2] The emptying device (1) is used on drums (2) containing paste (20). A drum tracking plate (4) pumps out the drum. The drum tracking plate has an upper plate and a sieve plate, with a negative pressure connection to the cavity between them. Before pumping out, the intermediate cavity has the air sucked out of it, so that the paste then sucked out by the pump (5) has no air in it.
