Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1754599A2] The printing unit (5) has a frame (25) and a printing group (7A). The group has a plate cylinder (9A) with a central axis (A9A), and a blanket cylinder (11A) having a central axis (A11A) to co-operate with a pressure cylinder (11B). A support mechanism (23A) supports the cylinder (11A) so that the cylinder (11A) is movable with respect to the frame between a throw-on position and a throw-off position. The mechanism has a main connection rod (33A) carrying the cylinder (11A) movable with respect to the frame. The rod is rotatable with respect to the frame around the central axis (A9A).
