Abstract (en)
The unit has formatting parts (1, 2) with hard bearing surfaces (9) at their ends. The bearing surfaces are formed such that they form a center distance between the formatting parts. The formatting parts form a rubber blanket cylinder and a plate cylinder, respectively. The formatting parts have bearing stubs (7) that are fixedly connected with ends of a cover (3). The cover is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
